Nikki is finding life tough going at the moment and she's having increasing difficulty with having to continually lie about Greg. She tells Jessie that she hates him.

The coroner has been in contact to say that Greg's body can now be released. Both Margi and Jessie want to bring the coffin back to the bungalow, but Nikki fears that she won't be able to handle that.

Vic, on the other hand, is enjoying life at the moment, especially now that she is with Darren. In addition, she's celebrating the fact that she hasn't heard a word from Mark in two whole weeks.

Vic and Darren will be attending tomorrow's (Sunday's) barbecue at Nathan's parents' house. This will also be the first time that Jacqui will have met Nathan's folks and she is rather nervous about the whole thing. Nathan is giving away very little, and Vic senses that he hasn't told Jacqui everything that perhaps he should, calls him "mean" and suitably admonishes him:

"She [Jacqui] is about to find out that the person she's been going out with for the past couple of months is a fraud."

At the hospital, Lindsey is waiting to be given the all-clear before she can go home. Actually, going home, is the last thing which R'Linds wants to do, for she is convinced that Callum will be hiding behind every lamp post, wall and pillar box, watching and waiting. She's very jumpy and Jimmy having to tell her that he'd had a go at Callum didn't exactly help.As he'd promised our loveable gangster, Jimmy tried to suggest to Lindsey that she should give up her half of the Club but Lindsey wouldn't hear of it.

"I know you're only trying to help, but don't bother in future cos this is my problem and I'll sort it out myself" she tells him.

In fact, that was only for starters. Linds was so annoyed with Jimmy that she added:

"I'd rather kill myself, than give in to him."

Also visiting Lindsey at different times were Susannah and Shelley. Susannah is hoping that she too will be able to go home in a week's time. Then thinking about the explosion and the subsequent events, Susannah wondered whether it could have been Callum who planted the bombs but Lindsey was adamant that wasn't "his style".

Having heard that Lindsey was facing the prospect of spending her recuperation time in Jimmy and Jackie's extension, Shelley offered to put R'Linds up in her house for a couple of weeks. Lindsey was delighted with this offer and accepted. She was still happy with the arrangement even after Shelley had added the 'oh, by the way, there's something I should tell you' line.

*We'd* known it was coming, but Lindsey didn't:

"I'm a deviant", Shelley revealed with a nervous laugh.

"A what?"

"I'm gay, lesbian, Child of Satan, whatever you want to call it."

"Oh, right."

Jackie was rather put out, to say the least, when she found out that Lindsey would prefer to stay with a someone whom she'd only just met rather than take up her offer of the newly cleaned extension compete with fresh sheets on the bed.

"Marvellous" she moaned at Jimmy. "She'd rather be with a complete stranger than her own Mum and Dad. Well, what's that saying? You give me one good reason why she can't come and stay with us."

Obviously, Jimmy couldn't. Well, he *could*, but he didn't. Obviously. If you see what I mean.

Lindsey, relieved that she had somewhere to hide from Callum, reiterated to Jimmy that she would never give in.

"I know one thing - his luck can't last for ever", she prophesised.

"No, and neither can yours", replied Jimmy.

What? Lindsey? Lucky? Blimey, if being blown up, beaten up and threatened in the course of a couple of weeks is having a lucky streak, I'd like to see what happens when Lindsey's luck takes a turn for the worse!
