Jimmy's moping around the house feeling sorry for himself now that he hasn't got a job to go to. Jackie's managed to get some extra shifts at the garage and hopes that Jimmy will help out by doing the shopping. Unfortunately, that's not Jimmy's idea of time well-spent: "That's *your* job", he tells Jackie, bluntly.

That's the catalyst for another row, during which Jimmy calls his wife a "jealous cow". Jackie, unsurprisingly, keeps bringing up the subject of the supposed affair with Karen which eventually prompts Jimmy to scream:

"You're forgetting one thing, aren't you? You're WRONG", before storming out to check on Sinbad.

The police are sniffing around following the street fight and they're also investigating the club bombing. With regard to the latter, Jacqui's got some photographs from the opening night which the bizzies are keen to see. She shows Lindsey the pictures and whilst Jacqui is looking away, Lindsey slips a photo of Callum into her bag. A keepsake? A momento? No, Lindsey has other ideas for it...

Jacqui also tells Lindsey that she's had Barry Grant on the phone and that he wants to sell the parade. Now, this could get interesting...

The aftermath of the fight is also taking it's toll at Mick's. Leo and Jerome have disappeared - lying low presumably, much to Mick's annoyance. He's itching to get his hands on them. Well, not literally - R'Mick's not a violent man these days (or least when it comes to racial issues, he's not!). Apart from Mick though, the police are also wanting to have words with the lads.

Sinbad's out of hospital, but he still can't hear anything and this gave rise to some rather comic scenes where Jimmy and Sinbad try to converse. Jimmy, for his part, using a combination of bizarre gestures and shouting, with, it has to be said, little success. And that was when he actually remembered that he had to *try* to make Sinbad understand! Half the time he just prattled on as normal, but he did make one comment which is worth repeating:

"Deafness is wasted on the unmarried." LOL. Actually, with all the shouting which goes on in Number Ten, it's surprising that Jimmy isn't deaf by now, himself.

Sinbad's main worry is that if the deafness persists, then he won't be able to talk on the phone to Little Ruthie. Ahhh. I'm only *guessing* here, but I reckon that the problem will be temporary - otherwise they wouldn't be using the issue for comic scenes, would they?

Mick's been to court over the selling of dodgy pies and has 'got away' with a £1000 fine. That's a THOUSAND POUND FINE, SIN. :-)

In the bungalow, life without Greg and Jason is starting get to Nikki, Margi and Jessie. Nikki wants to tell her mother about Greg's affair because she can't cope with Margi continually banging on about how wonderful he was. So far though, Jessie has managed to contain this thought, but we'll have to wait and see how long the secret is kept.

Margi's blaming herself for both deaths, because if she'd been at home and not poncing around Brussels (my words), then Greg wouldn't have gone to the club on his own and Jason wouldn't have had to go looking for him. Fair point!

She sees the van parked outside and in a moment of self-induced therapy, she starts painting out the name 'Shadwick and Son'... whilst still wearing her dressing gown!

Lindsey offers Jimmy a job in the Club, to help tide him over (that's the club which *isn't* even open!), but he's not very keen. I guess that he's heard there are some rather dubious characters knocking about... and then there's the Finnegans too!

"There are three people *dead*. You're gonna need more than a bouncer and a cellarman" is what he actually said. Followed by: "Love, I'm not getting mixed up in all that again. I'm telling you". So, I bet he does, then!

Jackie's advice had been even more succinct: "Sell the club", she told her daughter. "You don't belong in that game, Lindsey. For God's sake, don't drag your father back into it."

Later, when Jackie's back at work, Lindsey tells Jimmy about Callum's little proposal - the one about disappearing in seven days. Using his teaching experience, he talks her through the various options: killing Callum, running away, telling Rose and going to the Old Bill. Lindsey throws in something else, which she hadn't previously told Jim - namely the little fact that she also owes Rose £57000 by December. Jimmy, (and I guess that it goes without saying) *wasn't* pleased with this. By the end of the exercise, only one option remained on the list - the first one.

Lindsey asks Jim, if he knows anyone who could help.

"There is someone I was in Walton jail with", he says, thoughtfully.

"And would he do it?"

Jimmy thinks for a moment. "For a price."

Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock...
