Brookside Page updated every weekend Week Commencing February 11th 2001 Fred's surprise for Lance didn't turn out quite the way he expected after he caught Lance and Bev in a compromising situation. Lance eventually managed to convince Fred that he was not having an affair with Bev and that he wanted all three of them to be involved in the future of the baby. Fred was quite keen on the idea, but couldn't see how it would work when he lived so far away and his visa expired in three weeks. Lance was depressed at the thought of Fred leaving while Bev was upset after a visit from the police who revealed that Dave had conned another woman. Bev then had an idea to cheer all three of them up, and suggested that she marry Fred so that he could stay in England with Lance. Meanwhile in the Murray house as Diane hosted a knicker party, Adele was heartbroken to hear about the exploits of Cheryl and Leo while Steve had to explain why he lied to Katrina. Later when Diane decided the best option was to go private for her fertility treatment, Marty discovered how expensive this could be. Nikki faced Valentines Day alone while Jerome has a passionate time with Nisha instead.   Also on Brookside this week while Tim asserted himself in prison Emily decided to do what Carl suggested and pose topless. Nisha had to resort to hiding in a wardrobe when she and Jerome were almost discovered by Nikki.
