Brookside Page updated every weekend Week Commencing December 24th 2000 Shelley tried to make peace with the Corkhills as she explained recent events to Jimmy, while Bev excitedly made plans for her engagement party. Dave though wasn't so thrilled especially when Bev unveiled a huge picture of herself with Dave and Josh. The thought of playing happy families with Bev sent Dave into a panic, but he consoled himself on the night of the party by sleeping with Lindsey on Bev's sofa. Later Dave left Bev for good taking her money with him. Mike came out of his coma but it was not all good news for the Dixon's. Meanwhile Max was busy digging in his garden, but what would his neighbours have thought if they had discovered what he intended to plant there. Jessie and Ray celebrated as they agreed to tie the knot sooner rather than later despite what Kitty thought, while over in the Murray house the seasons festivities were brought to an abrupt halt when Diane feared she might be losing her baby. After consulting Darren, Marty rushed Diane to hospital where they anxiously waited the results of her scan.
