Brookside Page updated every weekend Week Commencing December 10th 2000 Katie decided to close her slimming club after discovering that while Lance was in charge her clients preferred his slimming plan. There was more upset for Katie when Nisha revealed the real reason Clint left the country, later she confronted him and demanded the truth about his past. Meanwhile Max had a visit from Lisa who was anxious about the delay in burying Susannah. Max though seemed to be losing touch with reality as he contemplated opening Susannah's coffin. After questioning everyone about Shelley in an effort to discover the identity of her married lover, Bev was sure the mystery woman was Jackie. Shelley admitted Bev was right but insisted she kept the identity to herself, but despite agreeing to this Bev soon shared the secret with Lance. Lindsey meanwhile was determined to win Shelley back and asked her round for a meal and a chat. Shelley concerned about seeing Jackie asked Lindsey to the flat instead. After a few drinks Lindsey and Shelley ended up in bed, Bev arrived and thinking that Shelley was with Jackie called out Jackie's name. Lindsey was devastated when she realised her own mother was Shelley's new lover. Also on Brookside this week Steven had doubts about Carl's motives when he asked Katrina to model for him, Anthony remained unimpressed while the rest of the family were delighted by the results of Diane's first scan. Emily was disappointed by Tim's reaction when she returned from Brussels.
