Shelley
finally confessed to Lindsey about her feelings for an older married
woman, and although she accepted they no longer had a future together
Lindsey told Jackie she still needed to know who this mystery woman
was. Jackie was about to tell her that she was the one that Shelley
was infatuated with, but thought better of it when Lindsey announced
she would kill this woman if her identity were known. Later Jackie heard
from Bev that Shelley was in still love with this married woman. Jackie
was furious and stormed round to confront Shelley, who insisted Jackie
must have feelings for her as they had spent the night together. In
a fit of temper Jackie threw a vase through the window and attacked
Shelley. In the ensuing scuffle Jackie ended up, on the floor with Shelley
on top of her. At that moment, alerted by the flying vase Lindsey and
Shelley arrived demanding an explanation.
After
visiting Susannah at the funeral parlour Max was distraught at the thought
of leaving her there, but his depression lifted when Diane and Brigid
suggested it might be a good idea to bring Susannah's body home. Max
then spent hours on a vigil at Susannah's side just talking to her.
Also
on Brookside this week Emily had mixed feelings when the court decided
on her punishment, a supervision order and told never to see Tim again.
Kitty tried her best to get round Margi who had returned for Emily's
court case. Anthony was unimpressed by Diane's lack of attention when
she fell asleep during his school play.
