After
the discovery of Susannah's body, Diane called the police while Adele
spread the news of Susannah's death. There was a shock in store for
Jerome when he decided to find Mick and tell him the shocking news about
Susannah himself, not only was Mick in bed with another woman but she
just happened to be Jeromes mum. After hearing about Susannah Mick felt
guilty and told Vonnie them sleeping together was a mistake. After Detective
inspector McGlynn had interviewed Susannah's neighbours he was satisfied
her death was just a tragic accident, but Max was not so sure.
Meanwhile
Ron advised Jacqui to seize the opportunity to gain access to Harry.
At the inquest into Susannah's death it was decided that Susannah sustained
a fractured skull as a result of her fall down the stairs, and although
she was still alive after the fall she later died in the kitchen after
a failed attempt to use her phone. Max was devastated by their findings
which confirmed his fear that Susannah had still been alive when he
left her, and if he had stayed and looked after her she may not have
died. The feeling of shock, pain and guilt was more than Max could take
and he collapsed in court.

in Brookside this week Dave took great pleasure in telling Lindsey that
Shelley was in love with an older woman, while Emily was having second
thoughts about letting Tim take the blame. Jimmy felt hurt by Jackie's
lack on interest in his welfare when she visited him at the unit.
