Brookside Page updated every weekend

Week Commencing November 19th 2000

Lindsey and ShelleyLindsey confided in Jackie that she believed Shelley was involved with someone else, not realizing that Jackie was the object of Shelley's affections. Lindsey became even more suspicious about her ex lover after talking to Bev who almost revealed Shelley's secret. Meanwhile Diane listened sympathetically when Jackie talked about Lindsey' sexuality. Later Lindsey was delighted to find Shelley there when she returned home believing that she wanted to take her back, but Shelley only had eyes for Jackie.

Swimming RaceThere was good news for Katie and Jacqui when Clint and Robbie arrived. Jerome celebrated his 21st birthday by holding a pool side party, where Jacqui showed off her swimming skills by easily beating the others in a swimming race. Steven was unimpressed by Katrina's drunken behaviour when she flirted with a bloke from a modelling agency. Later Jacqui got to know Robbie better in the Jacuzzi. Darren also got on well with the two brothers when he found they shared an interest in Dr Who.

Max digging graveAfter Lance reporting there was no one about at Susannah's house, Max decided to investigate himself and was horrified to find her not at the foot of the stairs where he last saw her, but in the kitchen. Max already blamed himself for Susannah's death but now it seems possible she was still alive after the fall and managed to crawl to the kitchen before she died. Racked with guilt, Max panicked and drove to the woods at night where he dug a grave for Susannah. He returned to the house where he decided to stay by her side until the morning when Diane called round and discovered them together.

Also on Brookside this week Emily sneaked out undetected to meet up with Tim while Mick decided to forget about Susannah and look for love elsewhere in the arms of Jeromes mum Vonnie.
