Lindsey and ShelleyAs Lindsey continued to question Shelley over the reason for their break-up, Jackie worried in case she discovered the truth. While helping Jackie by changing the sheets, Lindsey was shocked when she smelt a familiar perfume and wanted to know what Shelley was doing in Jackie's bed. Meanwhile Shelley confided in Bev about her feelings for an older woman, with her curiosity aroused Bev was determined to discover her identity.

Mick , Darren and JeromeDarren tried to explain about his relationship with Susannah but only succeeded in provoking a violent reaction from Mick. Susannah's sister and mother arrived for the the wedding and were shocked to find it had been called off.

 

 

The Murray familyDiane although delighted about her pregnancy was anxious about what Anthony would think. While the rest of the Murray family celebrated the occasion Anthony was not so pleased, but his mood improved when he later told Brigid the family secret.

Also on Brookside this week Max sent Lance on an errand to Susannah's house and was puzzled when he returned and said there was no sign of Susannah. Jimmy began to realize that he may have lost Jackie for good and as Darren became the subject of local gossip, Ron wasted no time in expressing his opinion the Doc's behaviour
