Brookside Page updated every weekend Week Commencing November 5th 2000 In the first of a series of flashbacks Jacqui offered Susannah £30,000 in a desperate bid to get Harry back, when Susannah refused a heated argument followed during which Darren walked in. It is at this point that Jacqui realized that Susannah had been having an affair with Darren and not Jerome as she first suspected. In a moment of fury she lashed out at Susannah and scratched her face. After Jacqui left Darren also argued with Susannah, as he was furious about her threat to make a complaint against him. Susannah tried to seduce Darren but he was definitely not in the mood and pushed her up against a wall. Mick turned up and was suspicious as to why Darren was there, but thinking quickly he explained that Susannah had asked him to treat her scratched face after she was attacked by Jacqui. After failing with Darren she succeeded in tempting Mick into the bedroom. Later when Mick called on Mike to cancel the wedding video he is horrified to be told the truth about Susannah and Darren. He confronted his fiancee, and although at first Susannah denied the affair she later admitted it was true. Mick was devastated by this revelation and called off the wedding before storming off in a rage. Emily who also had a grudge to bear, called round to see Susannah and sneaked in while she was watching a home video of when she was a young girl. Once again another row ensued but Max arrived, defused the situation and Emily left.   Max unhappy about rumours of Susannah's affair and her forthcoming marriage to Mick had called round to voice his opinion. When he discovers the wedding is off he tries to convince Susannah they should try again. Max follows Susannah upstairs but when she rejects his idea of a reconciliation Max loses his temper, there is a brief struggle at the top of the stairs before Susannah falls to her death On Friday Diane Murray was delighted to discover she was pregnant while Jackie vent her anger on Shelley when she found out that she was already in a relationship with Lindsey when she spent the night her. The search for Susannah's body continued.
