Brookside Page updated every weekend Week Commencing October 29th 2000 When Shelley made a declaration of love to Jackie she was disappointed to discover the feeling wasn't mutual, while Lindsey was distraught after she returned from the course to be told by Shelley that she wanted to put their relationship on hold. Jackie who was blissfully unaware of Lindsey's relationship with Shelley was shocked when Kylie announced she had seen them kissing. At first Diane was puzzled when Adele and Anthony felt unwell after they returned from trick or treating on Halloween, but she was angry when she discovered Kitty had played a trick on them by giving them chocolate laxatives.   The party atmosphere at Susannah's hen night turned decidedly frosty when Susannah told Victoria she had been having an affair with Darren. Later Susannah called on Darren in his surgery to inform him that she was having second thoughts about marrying Mick, and then after unbuttoning her blouse tried to kiss him. Darren was not interested though and quickly ushered her out of his surgery. As she emerged from the surgery obviously upset, Nisha noticed the state of Susannah's blouse and suspecting foul play suggested Susannah make an official complaint against Darren. Meanwhile Jacqui was still determined to get Harry back and once again confronted Susannah. Diane was shocked when she later heard from Susannah that Jacqui was paid £30,000 to have Harry. Tim and Emily had their first day in court, where Tim accepted responsibility for all their criminal activities, while Emily was furious that Susannah had refused to drop the charges against him. On her last night on the close Susannah had several visitors, each one with a grudge against her. She struggled with her killer at the top of the stair, before falling to her death.
