Brookside Page updated every weekend Week Commencing October 1st 2000 Carmel returned to Brookside Close after hearing about Tim and Emily being on the run. Sinbad explained the situation to her saying there was nothing more for him in Brookside close. Meanwhile Emily and Tim tried to blackmail Brian into giving them money. Brian's family were devastated when Emily revealed his secret after he refused to co-operate. Tim decided it was time they returned home to face the music, and confess their crimes to the police. Jacqui decided to confront Susannah about her affair and a blazing row ensued after Jacqui accused her of neglecting the children. Later Jacqui looked after Emma and Harry as a favour to Max, while Susannah learnt that Victoria and Darren were back together. When Susannah found out about Max's baby-sitting arrangements she was even more furious, and banned Jacqui from ever seeing Harry again. Also on Brookside this week after Kevin and Andrew's mother warned them not to press charges against their stepfather, Sinbad realized how much they needed him, so on Friday he decided to leave the close to start a new life with Barbara. Diane and Marty heard some bad news about their chances of IVF treatment.
