Lindsey and ShelleyShelley's relationship with Lindsey was put under strain when Shelley suspicious of Lindsey's friendship with Dave demanded to know exactly what happened the night Callum was killed. When Lindsey refused to tell her the details Shelley ended their relationship and threw Lindsey out. Devastated by Shelley's reaction Lindsey called on Dave and asked him to help by telling Shelley what really happened that night they spent together. Dave refused to help saying that as Lindsey was involved in Callum's death it would be best to keep what happened to themselves. Believing that she would never get back to Shelley Lindsey became very emotional so Dave tried to comfort her. Just at that moment Shelley arrived but Lindsey managed to convince her that Dave was just comforting her after their breakup. Lindsey pleaded with Shelley to give her another chance and in the end she relented.

Sinbad and BarbaraDarren agreed to help Jackie with Jimmy by making him see a specialist, as he continued to become even more unstable and even accused Jackie of having an affair with Sinbad. Diane continued her efforts to become pregnant despite arguing with Marty. After sharing a kiss with Sinbad Barbara was disappointed when he was obviously against them getting involved in a relationship.

Jacqui and LeanneAlso on Brookside this week Dave had no qualms about cheating Bev by helping himself to her money, while Jacqui having fought with Leanne and argued with Mike confessed to Katie she felt isolated and regretted not having married Nathan. Sinbad called a truce with Mick but was undecided about his future on the close after being refused service at Bev's Bar
