Brookside Page updated every weekend Week Commencing July 23rd 2000 Sinbad's problems escalated this week after Jackie decided to try and help by talking to Barbara, but she only succeeded in making things worse when she mentioned that Sinbad had been arrested for downloading child pornography onto a computer. Jackie was horrified when she realised that because of this Barbara was now even more determined to press charges against him. Lindsey caused Sinbad embarrassment when she reacted badly to Sinbad looking after Kyle but later had second thoughts, Sinbad found he had a friend in Andrew who decided to ignore Brigid's advice to stay away from him. Later Sinbad decided to visit Beth Jordache's grave on the anniversary of her death, where he met up with Rachel and Mike, For a while they forgot their differences, but Mike caused more upset when he insisted that Sinbad could not be baby Beths godfather, but Rachel was adamant that he would be. There is even more anguish for Sinbad when he phoned Mandy and she told him he could no longer see his daughter Ruth, then on Friday when Sinbad reports to the police station he was arrested for abusing Andrew. Also this week Jacqui decided at the last minute to join Katie, Clint and Robbie in Spain, while Lindsey accepted Shelley's invitation to spend a few days at her mothers house. Jimmy gave Ray cause for concern when he decided to sell off Lindsey's possessions at his garage sale. Susannah felt a little uneasy about Mick's enthusiasm for their wedding while Max was delighted when Katrina had to break a date with Steve to appear with him on a television commercial.
