Brookside Page updated every weekend Week Commencing July 9th 2000 While Sinbad faced a grueling interogation at the police station, Mick tried to find the truth by questioning Leo about the porn on Gemma's computer. Although Sinbad was released on bail his future looked grim and after talking to him Tim realised he must go to the police himself, confess that he downloaded the porn and take his punishment. Emily was horrified by Tim's decision but the police had other idea's and didn't believe Tim's version of events, believing instead that he was trying to cover up for Sinbad. Mick even began to doubt Sinbad's inoccence but as all his friends started to turn against him Sinbad was relieved to find Rachel was still on his side. Susannah was beginning to have doubts about her relationship with Mick and confided in Jacqui that she had another lover, but later she had a change of heart and made Mick's day by accepting his proposal of marriage.       While Max found the thought of Susannah marrying Mick amusing he still thought he had a chance with Katrina and after talking to Steve was undeterred and decided to ask her out for a meal. Meanwhile in the Murray house Diane took another step in her quest for a new baby by starting fertility treatment and the family decided to hold a house warming barbecue.
