Later Rachel agreed to take up Nathan's offer of his honeymoon in Barbados Meanwhile the Dixons had returned to No 8 Brookside Close to continue the celebrations where Ron suffered the humiliation of being the main topic of conversation amongst Bev, DD and Anthea and also endured them singing a song about him.     Bev was so sure that Dave was a changed man that she agreed to give him the job as manager at Bev's bar. Meanwhile after recent events Sinbad found it difficult to cope when Beth was left in his care but later was relieved to discover he could rely on Mick's support as he fought to prove his innocence. Mick surprised Susannah with a proposal but was disappointed when he didn't get the reaction he was hoping for. Also this week Emily who has been rather quite lately decided to continue her life of crime by planning to burgle someone's house while Max and Steve reluctantly agreed to help Katrina on a modeling assignment. Bev antagonized Ron by giving Jimmy a job and Ray wasn't too happy either believing that Ron was interested in Jessie. Meanwhile following his frequent visits to the doctor Adele jumped to the wrong conclusion about her dad Marty.
