Jacqui relationship with Nathan was put to the test in Benidorm after meeting Robbie. He made her realise how much she would be giving up by leaving Liverpool and all her friends by marrying Nathan. Jacqui was also Jacqui and Nathanworried about leaving Harry behind after the recent trouble between Susannah and Max. Eventually Jacqui decided to go ahead with the wedding but not before telling Nathanan about the doubts she was having. Although Nathan reassured Jacqui that they would be able to work things out and even offered to stay in Liverpool, he began to have doubts himself and as the ceremony started he decided to call a halt to the marriage.

Rachel and SinbadRachel had her own worries, after being abused by Trevor and then her disastrous marriage to Christian she was concerned about Sinbad and whether the allegations against him were true and also about marrying Mike as she feared he may abuse Beth. In a panic Rachel packed her bags ready to leave the close but fortunately Mike managed to convince her to talk to Sinbad. After talking to him she realised that Sinbad would never abuse a child and neither would Mike.

Diane and MartyAlso this week Shelley and Bev fell out over Dave staying at the flat, and Jimmy after his experiences involving drugs reluctantly decided to take antidepressants. Meanwhile Marty and Diane had mixed feelings about the results of the fertility tests and neither Mick or Victoria were happy about Susannah's friendly behavior towards Darren.
