Brookside Page updated every weekend Week Commencing 7th May 2000 Mike had to bear the brunt of Bev's anger when she returned to an empty bar. Sinbad got on well with Barbara when she paid him a visit, but there was trouble ahead after he told Andrew he would'nt be able to take him to Alton Towers after all as he had to look after baby Beth. Kevin took advantage of Andrew's dissapointment and persuaded him to accuse Sinbad of abusing him.     Susannah was delighted to be free of Max when her divorce papers arrived, but her joy soon turned to anger when she discovered Max would soon be living nearby after he rented a flat on the Parade. When Darrens mother paid him a visit she soon let him know that she approved of his relationship withVictoria. Darren had assumed that Victoria had only slept with Dave while they were apart but Dave was only to happy to inform him that he had in fact slept with Victoria after they were engaged. After hearing this devastating news, Darren decided to end his relationship with Victoria but later had a change of heart.         Also this week Dave wished he had kept the information about Victoria to himself after he was stabbed in Bevs Bar and was in need of Darren's medical skills. Lindsey couldn't believe how much Jimmy had changed while she was away and Diane and Marty decided to visit the fertility clinic.
