Brookside Page updated every weekend Week Commencing 30th April 2000 The girls hen week in Benidorm got off to a bad start when Lindsey's luggage went missing and Bev ended up drunk. While out one night in a bar Bev offered money to the first girl who managed to find a bloke, Katie didn't rate her chances but was amazed when she was approached by a gorgeous bloke called Clint who offered to buy her a drink. Katie and Clint hit it off straightway when they realized they are both from Liverpool. Clint though was not on holiday but working on a yacht along with his brother Robbie. While Katie and Clint went to her room, Jacqui was left wondering what to do with herself, until Robbie asked her to go for a walk. Jacqui found Robbie very easy to talk to and she was soon pouring out her heart to him. As Jacqui chatted to Robbie she began to have doubts about marrying Nathan and before long they ended up having a passionate kiss. Unfortunately for Jacqui Deborah saw them kissing and although she promised not to tell Nathan Jacqui continued to worry. Later at a party on board the yacht Deborah encouraged Robbie to make a play for Jacqui then took the opportunity to take a picture of them together. Katie realized what Deborah was up to grabbed her camera, threw it in the sea, then pushed Deborah in after it. Deborah later confessed to Katie the reason she wanted Robbie and Jacqui to get together was she that was in love with a Nathan herself. Meanwhile Rachel and Bev went out on a moped excursion and were entertained by the locals, but later ended up getting lost and were stranded in the middle of nowhere.They were soon at each other's throats when Mike became the the topic of conversation, but later they managed to resolve that the differences.
