Brookside Page updated every weekend Week Commencing 26th March 2000 The new family the Murray's moved in to No 9 and it was not long before the two youngest members of the family were arguing after Anthony accused Adele of drawing on one of his posters. The oldest son Steve had car problems but soon cheered up after he saw one of his new neighbours, Nikki Shadwick. Meanwhile when Victoria inherited £30,000 from Mark's mother she went on a spending spree at Bev's Bar, celebrated with Dave and later ruined Darrens day at the opening of the new medical centre.   Nikki had some awkward questions for Emily after she found a photo of her and Tim in Blackpool. Jacqui was far from happy with Bev's choice of Bar staff when she employed Leanne Powell an ex prostitute who once attacked her in Bar Brookie. Also this week a special delivery had an unpleasant surprise for Susannah while Bev realized Shelley is not so bad after all. Jimmy wanted to make his opinion count so decided to stand for council. Emily meanwhile had some good news when she got a job at the new hair salon.
