Week Commencing 13th February 1999

Gemma and JoseThis week Josie returned to the close after receiving a letter from Gemma about her experience with drugs. As Mick and Sinbad settled down for an afternoon watching TV they were interrupted by an uninvited guest. Mick was surprised to find Josie standing on his doorstep demanding an explanation regarding Gemma's adventures with Ectasy. Although Gemma was pleased to see her the atmosphere was still tense as Mick had his suspicions about her.

Mick and JoseOn Wednesday Josie and Mick went out for a meal together at the shelf, and were soon talking about old times. He also managed to save the guests from going hungry when the chef walked out. However when they got back to Mick's place Josie's real reason for returning was revealed. They were soon arguing when Josie demanded custody of Leo and Gemma and promised to fight him for them. There was worse to come for Mick when Gemma told him she had decided to go and live with her mum leaving him devastated.

Emily and TimMeanwhile Emily managed to convince Jessie to let Tim stay for tea, while Tim tried to make things right with Jessie by attempting to impress her. Emily was about to find herself in big trouble, after Jessie received a telephone call from the school she was caught in the act getting passionate with Tim in his garage

 

 

MikeMike discovered Ron has rearranged his and Rachel's wedding day so that it didn't interfere with Jacqui's big day, making Mike furious and determined to teach Ron a lesson. Meanwhile Max tried to convince Susannah that he was just being friendly towards Lindsey but she refused to believe him, but later admitted her true feelings for him. Lindsey arranged a night out alone with Shelley but was disappointed to discover Shelley had invited Jackie to go with them, and Victoria discussed her trip to the doctors with Darren.
