Week Commencing 16th January 2000
This week Nikki felt she could
get on with her life and concentrate on her relationship with Jerome.
When he eventually received the letter she sent him they decided to kiss
and make up. Meanwhile Tim and Emily decided to go on a spending spree,
with the use of Greg's credit card to pay for their goods. Emily later
managed to get hold of Greg's pin number but was disappointed when Tim
said it wasn't such a good idea.
Jacqui visited the
Cuddingtons, but refused to invite Ron, concerned that he might embarrass
her. However Ron was determined to meet the in laws with or without Jacqui.
When he heard there would be a guided tour of the Manor, he took Anthea
with him for a sneaky look around the family home. During the tour Ron's
curiosity got the better of him, and despite Anthea's warnings to stick
with the group, he ventured off for a look round on his own. As he entered
one of the private rooms he found Mrs. Cuddington half dressed, and was
apprehended as an intruder by one of the security guards. Luckily everyone
found it amusing except Jacqui and Anthea. On the way home Anthea was
furious with Ron and told him she wanted a divorce.
Meanwhile Katie headed for trouble, believing that Luke should
be punished for what he did she decided to give Nikki all Luke's legal
files. When Nathan found out he was furious with her and gave Katie the
sack.
Also this week Mike,
Rachel and Katie moved into Sinbad's house, but Mike and Rachel's domestic
bliss was soon ruined when Ron turned up unexpectedly, wanting to stay.
Over at Susannah's Max had organized a surprise birthday party for their
daughter Emma. Susannah was so pleased with Max she allowed him to give
her a kiss, but it didn't stop there, as Susannah started to show her
true feelings of passion for him. Meanwhile Charlotte forces Darren to
admit his true feelings for Victoria, and Rachel asked Sinbad if he would
be Beth's godfather and also give her away at the wedding.
