Week Commencing 16th January 2000

Tim and EmilyThis week Nikki felt she could get on with her life and concentrate on her relationship with Jerome. When he eventually received the letter she sent him they decided to kiss and make up. Meanwhile Tim and Emily decided to go on a spending spree, with the use of Greg's credit card to pay for their goods. Emily later managed to get hold of Greg's pin number but was disappointed when Tim said it wasn't such a good idea. 

Ron and The CuddingtonsJacqui visited the Cuddingtons, but refused to invite Ron, concerned that he might embarrass her. However Ron was determined to meet the in laws with or without Jacqui. When he heard there would be a guided tour of the Manor, he took Anthea with him for a sneaky look around the family home. During the tour Ron's curiosity got the better of him, and despite Anthea's warnings to stick with the group, he ventured off for a look round on his own. As he entered one of the private rooms he found Mrs. Cuddington half dressed, and was apprehended as an intruder by one of the security guards. Luckily everyone found it amusing except Jacqui and Anthea. On the way home Anthea was furious with Ron and told him she wanted a divorce.

Nikki and KatieMeanwhile Katie headed for trouble, believing that Luke should be punished for what he did she decided to give Nikki all Luke's legal files. When Nathan found out he was furious with her and gave Katie the sack.

 

 

 Max and SusannahAlso this week Mike, Rachel and Katie moved into Sinbad's house, but Mike and Rachel's domestic bliss was soon ruined when Ron turned up unexpectedly, wanting to stay. Over at Susannah's Max had organized a surprise birthday party for their daughter Emma. Susannah was so pleased with Max she allowed him to give her a kiss, but it didn't stop there, as Susannah started to show her true feelings of passion for him. Meanwhile Charlotte forces Darren to admit his true feelings for Victoria, and Rachel asked Sinbad if he would be Beth's godfather and also give her away at the wedding.
