Week Commencing 2nd
January 2000
Tuesday 4th January
Gemma was rushed
to Hospital where she was taken straight into intensive
care. Meanwhile Mick blamed Leo and Jerome for what has
happened, unaware that they had made a deal with Gemma to
keep quiet about their own plans involving drugs. He also
felt Lindsey was at fault for allowing dealers to come into
the club in the first place. When Jimmy found out he was
furious with her. While Niamh knew the truth about her
family she felt she needed to reconsider their future on the
close, in an attempt to try and keep the Musgroves
together.
Wednesday 5th
January
Jackie was furious with Lindsey for getting involved
with drugs, after what happened to her brother. She also decided she wanted
nothing more to do with Lindsey and told her to get packing and leave.
The Musgroves also made plans to move on and decided to leave for Ireland.
However instead of moving house in the daytime like anyone else would,
they did a moonlit flit. Darren had a guilty conscience feeling he was
to blame for Mark's death, after he had suspicions that he might take
an overdose.
Friday 7th
January
With Gemma still in Hospital Mick was
terrified that she might die, but was later filled with
relief. Shelley offered Lindsey a place to stay, but
disappointed her by making it clear she wanted to stay just
good friends and nothing more. While Victoria also felt she
was to blame for what happened to Mark, despite Darren's
attempts to try and reassure her.
