Week Commencing 5th December 1999

LindseyAfter last weeks meeting with the Finnegan's Lindsey turned to Jimmy for advice, but Jimmy felt no sympathy for her and told her she should contact the police. However Lindsey was determined not to give up on the club, despite the fact that she was heading for trouble with the Finnegan's involved. While feeling on edge and seeing Jacqui taking time off to have lunch with Nathan, she accused her of slacking off.

Lindsey and ShelleyThere's more bad news for her when Shelley told her Jacqui would be checking through the books ready for the accountant. She hurried off to get them before Jacqui did, but was too late. Jacqui was furious when she found out that Lindsey had been taking money from the club, and told her to replace it or she would inform the police, and that she was going to be selling her share of the club. At the end of the week Lindsey confided in Shelley over a few glasses of wine. However she had a few too many and turned to Shelley for more than friendship, but when she moved in to kiss her Shelley rejected her advances.

Jacqui and NathanMeanwhile Nathan and Jacqui headed off to Cuddington Hall where he declared his undying love for her, and then asked her to move to London with him. While Tim and Emily decided that the best way of getting hold of some easy money would be to apply for credit using Greg's name.

NikkiAlso this week Nikki decided to try and put the past behind her, knowing she had Jerome's full support. However on Friday she spent the day in Bar Brookie rinking vodka instead of attending her lectures at college. Ray revealed some shocking news when he told Jessie the truth about his marriage, and Joey pushed his luck with Jackie a bit too far. Meanwhile Leo was disappointed with Mick and Sinbad's behavior when he found them sharing a pizza while sat in front of the TV. Later in the week they tried their hand at decorating but their attempts proved to be unsuccessful before they have even started.
