Brookside Page updated every weekend Week Commencing 31st October 1999 This week Susannah, Jacqui and Lindsey re-opened The Millennium Club but decided to keep the time and date to themselves, to ensure the event went more smoothly than last time. Meanwhile Lindsey had to find a new business partner to take over from Jacqui and decided to ask Shelley. During her conversation with Shelley she started talking about her past experience with gangsters. Shelley was not impressed by Lindsey's background and walked out. Jerome arrived on the close to see Mick, but while discussing Josh's death Jerome insisted Josh got what he deserved. Mick was furious with Jerome's attitude and blamed him for starting the racism war in the first place. After everything that had happened Margi decided to accept the job offer in Brussels. Nikki realised that Margi has made the right decision under the circumstances, but was still angry with Susannah and felt she was responsible for Margi's decision to leave. On Wednesday Margi left Brookside Close to start her new life.   On Friday Susannah returned to her first day back at work in the restaraunt. Meanwhile Nikki was having more and more to drink as she wound herself up over Susannah, and seeing Luke made her even worse. Nikki ended up getting drunk, feeling angry she stood up in the middle of the restaraunt to make a public announcement, where she accused Susannah of killing Greg and Jason. Susannah tried to get Nikki to keep quiet but ended up asking her to leave. Nikki then told all Susannah's female customers to watch Susannah didn't steal their husbands, as she would kill them once she's had enough of their company. Also this week Max continued to try and impress Susannah, While Darren appeared to be suffering from a breakdown as he revealed his heartache towards Victoria to Nathan. Tinhead got a new job but ruined his chances with Emily, when he stood her up leaving her disappointed. However he later made it up to Emily by taking her out on another date. Kelly also had a date with Leo to look forward to. While Katie was left with Luke to take care of her, while her boyfriend Ryan was back in Scotland with Abby.
