Week Commencing 17th
October 1999
This
week Emily was concerned that Margi's heading for a nervous
breakdown, so with Nikki's help she tried to convince her
mum to take the job offer in Brussels. While Margi
considered her future, she discovered a set of unfamiliar
keys. Nikki told her they were probably Susannah's and
offered to give them back, but Margi decided to take them
round herself. Susannah panicked when Margi arrived
unexpectedly and start to feel uncomfortable, as Margi
revealed how jealous she had felt about Greg spending so
much time working for her. While talking to her she found
Susannah's nightie was identical to her own but thought
nothing of it. Susannah was saved from the awkward situation
when Max walked in on their discussion.
On Friday Margi had a run in with Luke, when she
accused him of being the cause of all Nikki's problems. Luke
told her Greg and Jason were to blame, but when Margi
continued to argue with him he revealed a terrible secret,
by telling her Greg had an affair with Susannah.
Meanwhile Darren and
Charlotte spent some romantic time alone together but were
interrupted by Victoria who was stunned to see Darren had
found someone else already. After returning to husband Mark,
Victoria was soon wondering whether she had made the right
decision.
Also this week Mick attempted to keep Leo on the
right side of the law but this proved to be unsuccessful
when it seemed Leo' had become adjusted to his new life
style. Jimmy tried to convince Jackie he hadn't been wasting
his time, but on Friday Jackie made Lindsey promise not to
give Jimmy a job. Max enjoyed being a parent again to his
children, while Ryan had his own daughter to visit leaving
Katie feeling insecure. Jacqui decided she wanted out of the
club, but Lindsey and Susannah were not happy with her
decision and blamed Nathan for influencing her, with the
Finnegan's deadline fast approaching Lindsey was unsure how
she was going to repay them. Also there was bad news for
Sinbad when he was told there was no improvement in his
hearing.
