Week Beginning October 3rd
1999
This week Jimmy felt
concerned for Lindsey knowing that Shelley wanted to be more
than good friends, and was unhappy about Lindsey and Kylie
staying with her. While Shelley liked to tease Jimmy, it was
Ron that made Jimmy really angry when he accused him of
dealing drugs to the local kids. Meanwhile Lindsey was
determined to convince the Finnegans it was Callum who
planted the bomb. During a visit to see Rose she vowed to
provide Rose with proof.
As Susannah remained in a
critical condition Ron considered contacting Max, feeling it
would be the best thing to do under the circumstances, but
when he asked Jacqui for her opinion she was totally against
the idea. On Friday Susannah woke up only to find Max
sitting by her bedside. Max understood how ill she was and
told her he loved her and wanted to help with the children,
but Susannah was not prepared to welcome him back with open
arms and instead she laughed bitterly at him.
The
police dropped the charges made against Leo and Jerome while
Josh and his gang returned to the close ready to get their
revenge but when he was unable to find them he took his
frustration out on Niamh, who tried to stop him from taking
further action.
Also this week Victoria's
guilty conscience got the better of her and brought her to
the decision to return to husband Mark, while Darren decided
to start seeing someone else. Nikki tried to persuade Margi
to move on with her life, While Nikki's own relationship
with Jerome progressed onto a more intimate level, and
Tinhead worried about what his future might hold.
