1999
Greg booked a hotel
room under the name of Mr and Mrs Shadwick then asked
Susannah to spend the night with him. Susannah begged Jacqui
to cover the restaurant for her by saying she desperately
wanted to spend some time alone with her children. While
Greg's excuse to Margi was that he had a lot of work on at
the Millennium club and would probably be working very late.
Meanwhile Lindsey visited the contractors by posing as a
rep, and while waiting for him to finish his phone call she
was shocked to hear his laid back attitude towards his work.
After revealing her true identity she then threatened to
send in the heavies if he didn't get the building work
completed in time.
However
Lindsey's attempts to sort out the contractors only made
matters worse when they failed to arrive the following
morning leaving Jacqui with the problem of having to find
some new builders. After a tiring night working at the
restaurant Jacqui was furious with Susannah after a chat
with Nikki revealed Susannah had lied to her, and her
suspicions were confirmed by Lindsey. At their next business
meeting Jacqui argued with Susannah about her affair with
Greg and after discussing the building work with Lindsey,
she walked out on the meeting.
Also
this week Mick received a court summons from Mr Moore while
Matt and Bosko set up a stall on the parade selling their
stones of Shad and using them to predict peoples fortune.
Over at the Shadwicks Nikki invited Jerome in for a coffee
before work along with his mate Leo. However when Jason
returned home with Katrina he told Jerome to leave.
Meanwhile Jerome continued to deny hitting Ryan's car even
though everyone knew it was him. Katie was told the truth by
Jacqui who informed her that Lindsey was a witness to the
incident. However instead of telling Jerome, Katie decided
to talk to Nikki and said that if she couldn't get Jerome to
tell the truth she would have to tell Ryan.
Lastly
Victoria and Mark discussed divorce proceedings but Mark was
reluctant to sell the house as he needed somewhere to
live.
