Brookside Page updated every weekend Week Beginning July 11th 1999 This week Jessie demanded an explanation from Greg concerning his behavior towards Susannah and threatened to tell Margi his secret if they refused to end their affair. Susannah stood her ground with Jessie by stating that as Greg was married he should be the one to put an end to their relationship. However Greg was happy to continue his affair with Susannah even though he became a bit concerned when Jessie started dropping hints in front of his family.     As Greg and Jessie argued, Susannah decided now would be a good time to take a break away from the close and spend some time with her sister in Tuscany. When Greg found out about her plans he was not pleased and began to wander just how much their relationship meant to her. On Friday Greg spent some time with his family at Bar Brookie watched the whole time by Jessie. However when Susannah arrived with Jacqui he could no longer resist the urge to spend a few passionate moments alone with her. Meanwhile Ryan seemed to have his mind on other things giving Katie cause for concern, especially when he started talking about how guilty he felt. Hearing Ryan talk about his guilt, left Katie's imagination to working overtime, when she began to suspect he might be the rapist. Finally Ryan revealed the truth to Katie. His secret being that he had a baby daughter. Katie was stunned by the news which her with the decision whether or not to commit herself to the relationship. Also this week Tinhead became suspicious of Mr Moore. Meanwhile Sinbad received another visit from him at the chippie, where his attempts to blackmail him using a bottle of Whisky proved unsuccessful, while Ron began his own investigation. Victoria finished her relationship with Mark and lastly Nikki became good friends with Jerome giving Katrina cause for concern.
