Actor Profile Sam Hudson ( Ryan Musgrove)

Twenty Seven year old Sam Hudson was born in Derby but throughout his childhood he moved all over the country as a result of his dad who owned several restaurants. He went to school in Birkenhead where he stayed the longest. While at school he spent most of his time chatting to his mates and messing around in class. He found it difficult to concentrate on his work and didn't have a direction to go in.

SamAt the age of ten he experienced his first kiss with a girl called Kerri. Although it took Sam two years to find the courage to ask her out. Kerri repaid him by telling her friends he couldn't kiss properly despite the fact he was still learning. However his romance has proved to be more successful since then and he is now dating Natasha Symms who played Kate Patrick in Hollyoaks. He asked Natasha out while at a party and came out with the following speech: "I don't suppose, if your not too busy, you wouldn't mind, maybe going out with me tomorrow night ".Natalie said yes and Sam made up for his speech the following day by sending her twenty four red roses with a card saying thank you.

Sam's first chance at Employment was when he was a student. He used to paint Dungeons and Dragons for which he got paid just £2.00 for each one. As each figure took about 10 hours to paint he referred to the work as slave labour. Since then he trained to be a chartered surveyor but this wasn't really what he wanted to do. He also became unemployed for a while before joining the cast of Brookside, where he got the part of Ryan Musgrove.

In times of trouble Sam turns to his girlfriend, but if he wants to moan about Natasha he would turn to his best friend JP who he's known since he was at school.

Sam is a big fan of Star Trek and would love to appear in the programme. While his favorite film is Withnail And I, but what amazes him most is Richard E Grants performance in the film.

However if he could play any other soap character it would have to be either Greg Kelly from Coronation Street , as he nearly got the part for this character when he audioned for it, or Callum Finnegan from Brookside. Sam has now settled down in Liverpool where he has brought his own home.
